ROCHESTER, Ind. — Jury selection happening today in the trial of the woman accused of hitting and killing three children at a bus stop in Fulton County almost a year ago.
Alyssa Shepherd is charged with reckless homicide, passing a school bus causing injury and criminal recklessness.
Last October police say she was driving a pick-up truck along State Road 25 when she didn’t stop for a stopped school bus with it’s stop arm out.
She hit three and killed three kids crossing the street to get on the bus. The accident has led to a crackdown on stop-arm law enforcement all over Indiana.
