Lyft to Offer Indianapolis Voters Free Rides to the Polls

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Lyft is offering Indianapolis voters free rides to and from the polls on Election Day next week.

If you enter the promo code INDYELECTION19 into the Lyft app, you’ll get an automatic credit of up to 10 dollars to get to a polling place and home again.

Lyft Indiana general manager Cebronica Luft says access to transportation shouldn’t keep anyone from voting. She says the ride-sharing app has offered Election Day rides in other cities. She says she plans to offer it in Indy again for next year’s elections.
