AUDIO: Third Arrest Made in Murder of Sullivan County Farmer
SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind.–A third man has been charged in the 2012 murder of Sullivan County farmer Lowell R. Badger.
Arthur Lee Grimes, along with his brother William Ray Grimes and Richard D. Taft, is accused of robbing and killing Badger in his rural home.
Police believe the suspects took Badger’s safe, television, and money. Conflicting accounts from witnesses suggest either Taft or Arthur Grimes shot and killed Badger during the robbery.
The Indiana Department of Corrections served the warrant to Grimes Monday. Grimes is currently incarcerated at the Reception Diagnostic Center Correctional Facility.
