INDIANAPOLIS — Marian University has announced it will offer a fourth doctorate degree.

Beginning with the 2020-2021 academic year, Marian will offer a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership through its Fred S. Klipsch Educators College, reports Inside Indiana Business.

The 34-month program will be offered online and on-campus. It is designed to “help students develop leadership capacity with a focus on exercising leadership in all professional settings,” according to IIB.

Marian will begin accepting applications for the new program early next year. The first summer class will begin in July.

“A doctoral program has been a long-sought-after request from many of our alumni,” said Kenith Britt, Ph.D., Senior Vice President and Dean of the Klipsch Educators College, to IIB. “By offering this program we are able to provide a unique and powerful process for developing leaders to serve our community and region.”

Marian also offers doctorate degrees in Osteopathic Medicine, Nurse Anesthetist, and Family Nurse Practitioner.
