STATEWIDE — The next couple of days consist of mostly and partly cloudy skies with temperatures from the 20’s to the 30’s in Indiana.
“We just have small chances of snow for Tuesday into Tuesday night,” Michael Koch, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, says. “At one point, it might impact Indiana, but for now, not much impact is expected.”
Koch says there is another system that they’re a little more concerned about.
“Moving in Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning, we may have a threat for some light accumulations for mostly along and north of 70, Koch says. “There might even be some brief freezing rain mixing in.”
Koch says north of I-70 may get the most amount of snow if anything, which is near Lafayette.
“There’s an increasing chance for the areas near north of 70 that could pick up a few inches of snow Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning,” Koch says.
Koch says snow and rain is possible Wednesday.
“Especially as you go into Wednesday and Wednesday night, along north of 70 where we could see some accumulating snow,” Koch says.
Koch says there’s hardly any wind gusts expected throughout the week.
“There will be just some light gust on Tuesday and Wednesday, but I’m not seeing anything too impressive as far as that goes,” Koch says.
Koch says conditions might change throughout the week.
“Check for updates to the forecast the next several days,” Koch says.
