Greenwood Fire Kills One at Apartment Complex

GREENWOOD, IND –– A fire at Clearview Apartments in Greenwood killed one person Sunday.

The Greenwood Fire Department says crews arrived at Clearview Way after reports of an explosion and found flames consuming a single-story building. When they arrived, people were already escaping.

The fire’s intensity and damage made reaching the apartment where it started impossible. One person inside didn’t survive.

Everyone who got out was unharmed. Investigators are working to find out what caused the fire.
