Did Hunter just lose his 5th amendment right to not testify against his father and members of his family because of his father’s pardon. Lawyer, writer and Fox News contributor Andrew McCarthy seems to believe so:

Andrew McCarthy:

Yeah. And that’s pretty standard actually in many, many criminal investigations at the federal and state level, when the investigation is kind of at a standstill, where you’ve gone about as far as you can in terms of what evidence you can collect and you know, what testimony you can get from people who don’t have criminal exposure, it’s a pretty commonplace for prosecutors to get an immunity order which extinguishes somebody’s just amendment privilege. Because what you’re saying is we won’t prosecute you no matter what you tell us, no matter you know, how extensive it is. You don’t have any criminal exposure anymore if you don’t have criminal jeopardy, potential criminal jeopardy. You don’t have a Fifth Amendment privilege because of your right not to testify against yourself. Implicit in that is we can’t make you testify to help us build a case against you.

What does Andrew think Trump will do when he takes office? Will he pursue Joe Biden? And what are McCarthy’s thoughts regarding the Daniel Penny case? Listen to the discussion in full here:
