Person Shot and Killed near Downtown Indy Apartments

INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a shooting near downtown Indy Sunday afternoon.
It happened at the intersection of East Market Street, near the E’Laan Apartments and Wheeler Mission, just before 1:00.
Indy Metro officers say the person did not survive, but they haven’t talked about what led up to the shooting or who the shooter was. Though officers expect to have more soon.
