Actress Teri Garr Dead at 79

LOS ANGELES — Comedic actress Teri Garr is dead at the age of 79.
The star of films including “Young Frankenstein” and “Tootsie,” for which she received an Oscar nomination, died Tuesday in Los Angeles after a lengthy battle with multiple sclerosis.
She was in dozens of movies and TV shows throughout the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s.
