INDIANAPOLIS — A seasonal tradition for many Hoosier families is starting its eighth running at Newfields Saturday night!

Winterlights is an outdoor experience at the art museum, centering on The Garden decorated with millions of string lights. Here, you can also listen to music, see a display on the Lilly House lawn, and more.

Food and drinks will even be available from some local Circle City establishments, including a spiced plum cider from Ash & Elm Cider Co., and the Electric Reindeer brew from Sun King Brewing.

There will be non-alcoholic drinks and snacks – like gingerbread popcorn, s’mores, and warm chocolate chip cookies – available as well.

Jonathan Wright, The Ruth Lilly Director of The Garden and Fairbanks Park, says the team spends “the whole year” preparing, and works to “provide the most memorable experience from start to finish.”

This year’s event will run through January 5th. You can get tickets here.
