Sporting Goods Maker Certor Sports Coming to Indiana
PLAINFIELD, Ind. — A sporting goods manufacturer is coming to Indiana and bringing hundreds of jobs along with it.
Certor Sports has announced plans to move its corporate headquarters to Plainfield and build a 230,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. The goal is to put over 300 Hoosiers to work building gear for athletes across the country.
Certor Sports oversees the production of football helmets, batters helmets, and protective equipment worn by players from youth sports to the NFL and MLB. Its brands include helmet makers Schutt and VICIS as well as ProGear, Tucci, and Adams USA.
The company has several job openings for the new Plainfield location listed on its website.
