WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Vermont Senator and former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will hold a town hall Friday evening in West Lafayette.
Sanders is expected to tout the Democrats’ $3.5 trillion budget plan during his visit to the Tippecanoe County Amphitheater Park.
“For decades, the rich and corporations have had it pretty good. Good for them. Those days are over,” Sanders wrote in a Facebook post. “Now we are going to pass our Budget Reconciliation Legislation and finally help the poor, the working class, the seniors, and the children of this country.”

According to Facebook, Sanders will host a similar town hall Sunday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
