INDIANAPOLIS — Strong storms caused power outages and school dismissals Wednesday morning.
POWER OUTAGES
At least 27,000 AES power customers were without power as of 11:45 a.m.
At least 370 Duke Energy customers were without power as of 11:45 a.m.
SCHOOL DISMISSALS
Power has been lost at Harrison Hill Elementary, Belzer Middle School, and Lawrence Central High School. Due to the power outage and extreme heat, the schools will dismiss early.
- Students from Harrison Hill will be dismissed and transported home beginning at noon.
- Students at Belzer and Lawrence Central will be dismissed and transported home beginning at 1 p.m.
Parents who are able to pick up their child/children are asked to do so.
