Over Labor Day weekend, VP Kamala Harris tried a new accent out on the road.
Kamala is going viral after addressing a crowd in Detroit with some very strong/forced southern drawl. We aren’t sure if she thought she was somewhere else in the country, or maybe she assumes that is how all the Midwest sounds like? Whatever the reason, Harris’ new tone did not go unnoticed.
What is even more comical than a fake accent is then going back and trying to correct it. Hours after her Detroit rally, Harris made her way to Pittsburgh to deliver the same speech just in a different dialect. Watch the two comparisons below:
Kamala is not the first politician or even public figure that has switched up their accents; unfortunately, she will also not be the last either.
