INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police have arrested a man for a fatal shooting at an east side motel.
IMPD homicide detectives on Monday arrested 22-year-old Richard Johnson for the murder of 29-year-old Timothy Bixler.
IMPD officers found Bixler shot inside a room at the Budget 8 Inn early Sunday morning. He died at Eskenazi Hospital.
Police have not said what led to the shooting.
