The Indianapolis Colts took a day off from practice Thursday to develop an action plan to tackle social injustice.

On Friday, Indianapolis Colts players Jacoby Brissett and Zaire Franklin, head coach Frank Reich, and general manager Chris Ballard gathered for a press conference outside their practice facility to share the details of that plan.

“On behalf of the players, team, coaches, the staff, the organization, we’re here to say we’re hurt,” said quarterback Jacoby Brissett. “We’re hurt because we feel the pain of not only our Black teammates but our Black community. We understand that we have to use our platform — not only individually, but collectively as an organization.”

The Team Plans to do Four Key Things in 2020:

  1. Get as many people registered to vote as possible and help them get to voting centers.
  2. Help mend the relationship between the Indianapolis community and the police.
  3. Provide food drives to help low-income families and areas.
  4. Support Indianapolis Public Schools and help Superintendent Aleesia Johnson “in any way possible.”

WIBC host Tony Katz says he’s “all in” and ready to help.

“I looked at the list put forth by the Colts and said, ‘You know? There’s not a thing on this list that I couldn’t get behind. Registering people to vote? Making sure people know where to go when they vote? Why wouldn’t I get behind that?

“Mending relationships with the community and police? Yes!

“Food drive? Absolutely!

“Support IPS? Well, I’m not sure what they’re specifically looking to do, so I’ll need to hear more about that. But the first three? Absolutely.”

Tony then proceeded to lay out his plan to help, which involves Matt Bair getting pummeled! Click below to check it out.
