SEYMOUR, Ind. — A Seymour man is on the mend after he was hit by a train.

Daniel Champ, 27, was hit Thursday night on the tracks on East Tipton Street near Crossroads Community Park, according to WBIW News.

Witnesses told police Champ “walked in front of the train and bounced off” but did not get sucked under the train.
