Plane Crashes at Purdue University Airport, Pilot is Safe
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.–A pilot is okay after his plane crash landed at the Purdue University Airport Thursday night.
Purdue University says the pilot was the only person on board the plane when it crashed around 5:30.
The damage to the plane was considered “minor to moderate” and the pilot refused treatment from medical personnel.
A Purdue spokesperson said the plane was not part of the school’s Aviation Technology Program.
