EVANSVILLE, Ind.–He’s accused of stealing over 30 pairs of a woman’s underpants and he faced a judge for the first time Wednesday.

WFIE reports that the bond for Aaron Otto, 32, of Newburgh was set at $40,000.

Police say Otto broke into a woman’s home while she was away and stole the underpants. Investigators say fingerprints linked Otto to several sexually inappropriate notes written on women’s cars at the University of Southern Indiana.

Police believe those same fingerprints helped link Otto to a burglary case back in 2014 as well.

He’s due back in court February 6th.
