Fishers Woman Drowns in Pool Monday Afternoon

FISHERS, Ind. — A woman drowned in a pool in Fishers Monday afternoon.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office said 56-year-old Marci Herbert died from asphyxia, due to drowning. Fishers police arrived on Muirfield Trace, near East 106th Street and Geist Road, around 2 p.m. to look into this.
The autopsy, which happened early Tuesday, found that she died by accident.
