INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A crossing guard has been sent to the hospital after he was hit by a car outside of North Central High School.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the crossing guard was hit by a driver on 86th Street, just west of Keystone Avenue.
The guard is awake and breathing. He is headed to a hospital and has a cut on his head.
IMPD says the driver is cooperating with officers.
