Joey Chestnut Announces Return To Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest
WESTFIELD, Ind.–Joey Chestnut, the sixteen-time champion of the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, is set to return to the competition this July Fourth after being banned in 2024.
Chestnut expressed his excitement to participate in the event, calling it a cherished tradition and a celebration of American culture.
Despite past sponsorship issues, Chestnut clarified that Nathan’s is the only hot dog company he has worked with. Fans can look forward to Chestnut competing for his 17th title next month.
He was born in Fulton County, Kentucky and currently resides in Westfield, Indiana.
