IMPD: Indy Pride Events Will Cause Road Closures in Downtown Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS–This weekend, downtown Indianapolis will host various Pride events, including an Indy Pride Parade on Mass Ave. and Celebration on the Circle at Monument Circle.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department announced road closures Wednesday morning to ensure a safe and joyful Pride weekend.
The parade will feature floats, marchers, and LGBTQ+ advocacy groups, uniting thousands in celebration. The road closures include the following:
- Mass Ave.: closed on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- The Circle: closed on Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- North Street: closed from Wednesday through Monday
- St. Clair Street: closed from Friday through Sunday.
Additional events include a music series and local art vendors, showcasing LGBTQ+ culture and community.
