Teenager Dies in Southern Indiana Truck Accident

WASHINGTON, Ind.—A teenager died when the large truck he and a friend were working on fell off the jacks, crushing him.
That happened Saturday night in Washington, said a news release from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Dept.
The young men had a Ford F 350 up on two air jacks that were on top of cinderblocks and a floor jack. Thye news release did not mention whether they had jack stands.
While they were trying to remove a part from the truck, the weight shifted and it fell from the jacks, crushing Cooper Schuckman, 16, of Washington.
A nearby forklift was used to lift the truck off of the boy.
