IMPD: Man Found Shot Dead in Car on Indy’s West Side
INDIANAPOLIS–A man was shot and killed on the west side of Indianapolis at an apartment complex Thursday afternoon.
IMPD says it happened in the 2900 block of Rolling Dunes Drive just after 2 pm. That’s in the Waterfront Pointe Apartments off Crawfordsville Road just west of the I-465 and I-74 split.
At first they thought it was a car crash, but then realized that a person had been shot. When they got there, they say they found a man shot inside the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are trying to find suspects and a motive for the shooting.
