Deputies Arrest Man in Hendricks County for Residential Entry

PITTSBORO, Ind. — Deputies with the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Offices arrived on East County Road 750 North early Saturday around 6:30 because of a burglary in progress.
A person in a home said he came out of his bedroom and saw a man sleeping on his floor, and that’s when he left his home and called police.
When police arrived, they tried talking to the suspect by using a PA system, which was in their car. About two and a half hours later, the man finally left the home, and he was taken to Hendricks County Jail. The man was identified as 18-year-old Nicholas L. Johnson. Officers say Johnson had alcohol on him.
Johnson is facing charges of residential entry and alcohol consumption.
Deputies were told that he was in the area Friday evening with his friends, and he did not know how he got in the home.
