Pacers Secure 50-Win Season For First Time Since 2013-14
CLEVELAND, OH.–The Indiana Pacers secured their first 50-win season since 2013-14 by knocking off the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday afternoon in double overtime 126-118.
The Pacers trailed by as many as 27 points, including 23 in the fourth quarter, but outscored Cleveland 38-20 in the fourth quarter to force overtime. Quenton Jackson led Indiana with 21 points.
The Pacers finish the regular season at 50-32. They will face the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
Cleveland has the best record in the Eastern Conference with a record of 64-18. Both teams rested several players on Sunday to get ready for the postseason.
