Shooting Near Indiana State Fairgrounds Leaves One Person Dead
INDIANAPOLIS–Two people were shot and one of them was killed on the northeast side of Indianapolis near the Indiana State Fairgrounds Tuesday morning.
IMPD says they were called to the 3600 block of Ralston Avenue around 9:40 a.m. because they were told someone had been shot. That’s in a neighborhood just off the intersection of East 38th Street and Fall Creek Parkway North Drive.
They say they found two people with gunshot wounds at the scene. Both of them were rushed to hospitals, but one of them died. They also think an argument among family members may have been a factor in this.
One person was detained at the scene, but police are trying to learn more.
