UPDATE: The two men who were killed Sunday were both shot, said the Marion County coroner. The man shot on North Whitcomb Ave., was ID’d as Ibn Waller, 22, who was shot multiple times. The man who was killed on Beville Ave., was ID’d as Jordan Perry, 23. He was shot once.

 

INDIANAPOLIS—Two men are dead, both killed Sunday in separate incidents, one on the city’s east side, and the other on the west side.

A man was found dead by Indianapolis Metro Police officers just before 11 a.m. on North Beville St., near the intersection of Michigan and Rural, on the east side. 

Detectives did not identify the man, nor did they give any information about the cause and manner of death, saying that will be determined later.  

At 12:45 p.m., police found a man shot on North Whitcomb Ave.,  which is just north of 10th St., and just east of I 465 on the west side. 

Officers did not discuss the circumstances surrounding his shooting. They also did not identify the man or any suspects.
