JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. – Two Jennings County men were arrested after one of them attempted to return a cell phone to a local business and instead returned a meth pipe, according to The Republic newspaper in Columbus.

Marvin Cumberworth dropped off the cell phone box containing the meth pipe on Friday, said police. When the box was opened and the pipe discovered, store employees called the police.

The box was traced to Cumberworth, who admitted that the pipe was his and that he had meth on him, according to The Republic. Cumberworth was arrested and taken to the Jennings Co. Jail.

Deputies got a search warrant for his home. There, they found James Earl. Earl had meth on him and was also arrested.

Both men face multiple charges, including meth possession and maintaining a common nuisance.
