INDIANAPOLIS — A person was stabbed and killed on Indianapolis’ northeast side Saturday night.
IMPD says they were called to the 4300 block of Shady View Drive, which is near Shadeland Avenue in a residential area. Officers found the person who was stabbed in a hallway of an apartment building.
Shortly after the Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services medics arrived at the scene, the person died from their injuries.
Detectives say they hope to get a hold of the person’s phone for evidence of the stabbing, as well as any possible surveillance video that might have captured the stabbing.
As officers were investigating, they say they found blood on two floors in the apartment building, as well as a stairwell.
If you have any information regarding the stabbing, officers urge you to give them a call.
