Did The Dems Violate The Logan Act With Zelensky?
It seems obvious to anybody who is honest that Zelensky liked to change the deal right there and then and thought that a scolding, a lecturing would do the trick. It was a miscalculation, even if there is an argument to be made about whether or not you could trust Vladimir Putin and any peace deal or ceasefire.

Major Mike Lyons joins me right now, retired United States Army. What we saw on Friday., very rare to see things this public. These are behind closed door conversations for sure. But let’s let us dig in on this idea that what Volodymyr Zelensky is trying to do is get more security, assurances, as the layman hears it, how would you define it to them? What is a security assurance?
Well, Tony, security assurance in this case would be a guarantee for the United States to respond to something that Russia did militarily to protect Ukraine, but as I think the Secretary of State stated, it would be buying a warranty before we even saw the end product here. A security assurance right now while Ukraine is in a war with Russia makes no sense for the United States. It would get us involved virtually immediately. Even the most simplistic security assurances what? What’s been thrown around, for example, in past conflicts is the no-fly zone. If you remember that the United States could put up a no-fly zone over Iraq or over these places, but any of those things would be an act of war and a security assurance today that that was given by this administration. Russia would consider that an act of war. So we can’t talk about security assurances… Here is my biggest concern from what happened on Friday. I think that the, that the administration did all they could…. Nobody walks into the Oval Office and talks to our president that way. I don’t care if the president’s Republican or Democrat. And the fact that you had Democratic senators talking to Zelensky before prepping him up, basically going in there and basically saying to do that to our President…
Do we have proof of that? Because there were some people just interrupt like Senator Chris Murphy denying that that ever happened. Like they were big on like, how dare you say this? This was just an ambush by Trump. Were there meetings with the Democrats?
45 minutes before the meetings, he (Murphy) tweeted out (below) that he had a meeting with Zelensky. So again, I’m just using his words, using what he what said. So, I again, the fact that that even occurred, if that’s not a violation of the Logan Act, I don’t know what is
