Police Looking into Shooting on Indy’s West Side

INDIANAPOLIS – Officers are looking into a shooting of a man in an alley on Indy’s west side early Thursday.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says officers arrived in the 1100 block of Somerset Avenue after 3:00 a.m., where they found the man. Authorities say he died at the scene.
Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency also arrived at the scene to gather evidence that was possibly involved in this case.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office is looking into what exactly led up to the shooting.
