Carlson and Shapiro Reveal New York Times’ and Media Matters’ Scheme To Target Conservatives Ahead Of The Election
I first saw this this morning on social media from from Tucker Carlson where the New York Times reaches out to him. Hey, we’re running this article and we’re utilizing as our data Media matters for America. Care to comment about why you’re a racist and a bigot and this and that and the other?
Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey joined Tony Katz Today to talk about the left’s latest attempt to censor conservative voices.
So, they’re trying to get information on. Tucker Carlson, Ben Shapiro, I think Benny Johnson was on the list and, and some other people that are, are known in alternative media, independent media for supposed misinformation about the 2020 election and some other nonsense stuff. And so, they sent over a note to Tucker Carlson and to Ben Shapiro. Talking about, well, we’ve gone through 260, we’ve seen 268 things that you said that were false. And you’ve got, you know, six hours to respond to me before we go live with this tomorrow morning sort of thing. And I mean, it’s a nonsense thing to do, and Tucker Carlson rightly called them out on that. He just simply posted the text chain and that was it you just posted that on X Ben Shapiro sort of went on a multi tweet rant on X with the same exact type of text that he got from Nico Grant over the New York Times. They’re using Media Matters for America, which is a partisan outfit which is explicitly trying to get conservative voices deplatformed off the internet.
I think they’re trying… they’re focusing on YouTube because they want to get YouTube to deep platform these people. That’s the whole point of focusing on YouTube… They’re going after the YouTube channels because they want to deplatform or demonetize these people so that they can’t operate any longer. If you cut the money off, they, they wither and die. It’s true for any business. And that’s what they’re aiming after and they’re doing it.
