NWS: Warm Up Followed By A Cool Down This Weekend Across Indiana

STATEWIDE–Temperatures have cooled down across Indiana, but they will warm up as the week goes on.
“We’re looking into a little bit of a warming trend. Highs will get either into the 80s or close to it depending on where you live tomorrow and Thursday,” said Andrew White, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.
White says a cold front, however, will move in Friday.
“That’s going to bring in some cooler weather, even cooler than what we’ve had the last few days,” said White.
In southern Indiana, Spencer, Posey, Gibson, Warrick and Vanderburgh Counties are under a burn ban because those areas have had little to no rain in the last month or so.
“Some rain has been spotty even in the places that have gotten it. Burn bans just mean that the emergency managers in those areas know that fires are susceptible to getting out of control, so they just want people to be careful,” said White.
At times this weekend, White says you might experience temperatures in the 40s early in the mornings.
