Colts Win Preseason Battle Over Cardinals

INDIANAPOLIS—The Indianapolis Colts won their first preseason game Saturday night over the Arizona Cardinals 21-13.
The Colts kept their starters on the bench for this contest.
Zavier Scott (11 carries for 55 yards) and Tyler Goodson (6 carries for 35 yards) both had one rushing touchdown a piece for the Colts.
The third rushing touchdown of the game came on a one-yard run by quarterback Jason Bean. Bean also completed 7 of 9 passes for 94 yards with an interception.
The Colts had 356 total yards while the Cardinals had 232.
The Colts also had 24 first downs while the Cardinals ended up with 13.
The final preseason game for the Colts is August 22 against Cincinnati. They start the regular season against Houston September 8.
