Cory, Ind.– Rescuers from the Clay County Sheriff’s Department and Cory, Indiana Volunteer Fire Department fought to rescue a person trapped in a grain bin on a farm in Cory, around the 6600 block of West County Road 350 South Monday night.

Cory is an unincorporated community in Clay County about 15 miles east of Terre Haute.

The Sheriff’s Office confirmed Tuesday morning that the person has died.

The name of the victim and other details have not been released.
