Scecina Coach Violated Code of Conduct, On Paid Leave
INDIANAPOLIS — A staff member at Scecina Memorial High School has been placed on paid leave after a “code of conduct” violation.
According to a statement sent to WIBC News Thursday afternoon from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Office of Communications, Kevin Griffin, the head coach of the girl’s volleyball team, was the staff member who violated a “code of conduct.” The Archdiocese did not clarify which code of conduct was violated.
Griffin is no longer listed on the school’s coaching staff page.
The statement says the school is cooperating with “local authorities” – this was not clarified either.
Below is the original message sent to WIBC News:
“The staff member is on paid administrative leave while the authorities investigate the matter regarding a code of conduct violation.
The school is cooperating with local authorities.
We ask for prayers for all involved and assure you of Scecina’s continued commitment to the well-being of our students and staff.”
