THE KOUNTRY KITCHEN COMES BACK
INDIANAPOLIS — Indy’s Kountry Kitchen broke ground Tuesday at its old spot on 19th Street and North College Avenue.
The restaurant, which serves southern soul food and drinks, burned down in January of 2020. WISH TV reports that the restaurant has been running its business from Commerce Avenue since late 2020, but will be returning to its original home.
One of Kountry Kitchen’s co-owners told WISH TV that the new build will add rooftop and outdoor seating, but will still be the restaurant diners know and love.
