INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) announced Wednesday the second COVID-19 vaccine booster is available to eligible residents.
Hoosiers age 12 and older who have weakened immune systems and those age 50 and older who received a booster dose at least four months ago are eligible for a second booster.
On Tuesday, the FDA and CDC authorized a second booster shot.
IDOH says they are advising vaccine providers that they can begin to administer second boosters of the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines to individuals who qualify.
