INDIANAPOLIS – A new nonstop flight from Indy to the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina is being added to the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) via Frontier Airlines beginning May 26.

The nonstop flight to Raleigh-Durham (RDU) will leave out of Indy twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.

“Throughout the pandemic, this was an unserved destination,” said Mario Rodriguez, executive director of the Indianapolis Airport Authority. “But Frontier is changing that starting in a few short weeks, and giving Hoosiers an easy and affordable option to visit one of the most gorgeous areas in the Southeast.”

The Raleigh-Durham area features plenty of tourism opportunities that include museums, natures preserves, and a thriving retail and food-and-beverage scene.
