U.S. Marshals Capture Young Dolph Murder Suspect in Indiana
INDIANAPOLIS — One of two men accused of killing rapper Young Dolph was captured in the Hoosier state.
Justin Johnson, 23, was arrested for first-degree murder and property theft Tuesday afternoon in Indiana, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
A warrant for Johnson’s arrest was issued earlier this month.
Johnson and another man, Cornelius Smith, are accused of shooting and killing 36-year-old Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr., a.k.a. Young Dolph, at a Memphis bakery on Nov. 17, 2021.
Shortly after Johnson’s arrest was announced, the Shelby County (Tenn.) District Attorney General announced that Smith had been indicted for the killing of Young Dolph.
