WINCHESTER, Ind. — A Randolph County man was arrested Saturday for repeatedly calling 911 and making sexual comments to an emergency dispatcher.

Timothy Theurer, of Modoc, faces a preliminary charge of harassment.

Theurer repeatedly called 911 on Saturday. In at least one of the calls, Theurer told the dispatcher in graphic detail about a sexual encounter he wanted to have with her, reports The Star Press newspaper.

When a deputy went to his home, Theurer said the calls were part of his job as an “undercover police officer” with the Muncie and Richmond police departments. He also threatened to kill a Randolph Superior Court Judge.

Theurer was arrested and taken to the Randolph County Jail.

In 2020, Theurer was convicted of unlawful use of the 911 service, according to The Star Press.
