Four People Killed in Union Co. Head-On Wreck
RICHMOND, Ind.—Four people died in a two-car wreck Sunday afternoon in Union County, said state troopers with the accident reconstruction team.
A Ford Fusion, being driven by Savannah Kinder, 23, of Richmond, hit a Mercedes head-on at about 3:30 p.m. on Nine Mile Rd.
Troopers said Kinder ran off the road and over corrected, hitting the Mercedes, immediately killing Kinder; Connor Brite, 23, the driver of the Mercedes and Jordan Fuelling, 20, who was the backseat passenger.
The front seat passenger,, Trevor Ortiz, died at the hospital.
Everyone who was in the Mercedes was from Decatur.
Police said everyone was wearing a seatbelt, but they believed speed was a factor in the wreck.
