Vermont senator, 2020 presidential hopeful, passionate advocate for burdening the middle class with higher taxes, Bernie Sanders was campaigning in Carson City, Nev., on Sunday when a couple of half-naked protestors stormed the stage at his event, poured milk on their exposed breasts (as you do), and danced around the podium for a few moments before being escorted off stage.

It’s rare to see a floor show at a political rally, and frankly, Bernie Sanders would seem to be the least likely of all candidates to have nudity at his gatherings.

Regardless, nudity and milk were indeed served up to attendees at Sanders’ Nevada rally, and disinterested photographers were there to capture the event in full.

According to the New York Daily News, Sanders had just finished introducing his wife Jane O’Meara Sanders as “the next First Lady” when a woman walked up to the mic and began ranting about subsidies for the dairy industry.

“Bernie, I’m your biggest supporter and I’m here to ask you to stop propping up the dairy industry and to stop propping up animal agriculture. I believe in you,” she said before the audio was cut.

OUT with the old, IN with the nude…

At this point, two topless gals hopped onstage, poured milk on themselves, and performed an interpretive dance around the podium for a few moments before security took the protesters away.

The crowd shouted “Bernie!” while others (mostly Bernie’s wife) screamed obscenities at the women.

Mayor de Blasio, who had introduced Sanders minutes earlier, was seen on video averting his gaze and walking away from the stage, lest he be turned to stone.

Here’s the video of the incident, which has been properly censored to reduce the chances of an unpleasant and career-ending encounter with the WIBC’s Standards & Practices division.

Remember When: In 2016, two women were arrested for disrobing to reveal the phrase “Feel the Bern” written on their bodies outside a rally in Los Angeles, according to the L.A. Times.
