IndySurviveoars is Indiana’s only breast cancer Dragon Boat racing team and just before the team left for Florence Italy to compete in the International Breast Cancer Paddlers’ Commission Participatory Race, Coach Sara Demmon stopped by for a visit on “The First Day”. Sara is also a breast cancer survivor, and so are her teammates. Indy’s team, which is representing the U.S., will join over 2,000 breast cancer survivors from around the world. Sara says, not only will they race against each other, but they’ll also celebrate survivorship. The races are July 7th & 8th. Follow them on Facebook to watch their progress.
