Hammer and Nigel welcomed political commentator and best-selling author Bill O’Reilly back to the show Monday for an interview in which the former Fox News host talked the likelihood of government shutdown over funding for Trump’s border wall, went after Washington pinheads on BOTH sides of the political aisle, and even offered up some never-before-heard background on his famous appearance on “The View.”

On Border Wall Funding and Government Shutdown:

“I’m bored with it; they’re all pinheads. I actually told my viewers today on billoreilly.com, ‘I’m not going to report on it because it’s too boring. If you want to hear about it, watch cable TV.’

Nobody knows what’s going to happen. Usually in these cases, they do make deals. You know, they’ll give him $3 billion for the wall. [Trump] will say ‘Oh, I won,’ and [Democrats] will say they won. So dull, so boring.”

On His Famous Appearance on ‘The View’ in Which He Managed to Get Whoopi and Joy to Walk Off Their Own Show:

“People don’t know this, but after they walked off the set, they were almost hit by a truck on West End Avenue in Manhattan and it was very, very close.

…But now that show is ten times worse than it was back then. I don’t watch it, but I get reports and it’s just insane.”

On Joe Biden and Beto O’Rourke 2020:

“I don’t know Beto O’Rourke, but I am familiar with Joe Biden. I recently saw Biden on television and he’s orange. So I want a new series ‘Orange is the New Biden.’ He’s orange. Now Trump is orange too, and my dermatologist told me it’s self-tanner. So they’re both self-tanning, which I hope they’re not charging the taxpayer for. I wanted to put a candle in Biden’s mouth!

…But Democrats are worried and I think Biden could do it if he put a woman on the ticket as his running mate.”
