Indianapolis is due to get its very first cereal cafe, courtesy of Brandon Howard, the proprietor of a CBD dispensary located at 901 N. Pennsylvania St.

The Higher Life Cereal Cafe will feature 100 kinds of cereal plus Pop-Tarts ice cream sandwiches on the menu!

You want Cheerios? They got ’em. You wanted Frosted Flakes, Honey Bunches of Oats, Lucky Charms, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch? They got ’em. You want Fiber One? What the hell is the matter with you?

Brandon Howard told the IndyStar he also plans to stock rare brands like Boo Berry and fill customer requests for niche cereals such as Reese’s Puffs Big Puffs.

Bananas, granola, chocolate and crumbled Pop-Tarts are among at least 15 different cereal add-ins. Bowls will range from the 4-ounce small to 16-ounce large sizes.

You’ll also be able to mix flavors and enjoy them with dairy milk, lactose-free milk, plant-based milk, chocolate milk or just a big wad of ice cream.

“Basically, whatever kind of milk you want,” Howard told IndyStar, so don’t be afraid to ask for a latte to be poured over your bowl of Count Chocula “chocolatey cereal with monster marshmallows.”

Howard is also thinking about expanding his Higher Life CBD Dispensary brand. His newest CBD store is next to the budding cereal café. Howard’s first shop is downtown at 901 N. Pennsylvania St.

Thinking Indiana may eventually OK legal weed, medical or recreational, Howard wanted a business that would complement his CBD operations and future foray into legal marijuana.

The first location will stand at 8949 E. Washington St., at Post Road.

Higher Life Cereal Café’s grand opening starts at noon Feb. 1. Regular hours will from around 9 a.m. to about 6 p.m. daily.
