PIKE COUNTY, Ind.--He left without paying for a fountain drink and later got arrested for a DUI Wednesday night.

That’s what state police are saying about a man from Petersburg. They say Kolby Jenkins, 32, of walked into the Quick Pick gas station in Winslow, became disruptive, and later left without paying for a fountain drink.

Moments later, officers say they got to the gas station and realized Jenkins was still in the parking lot near the gas pumps.

Through field sobriety tests, they realized Jenkins was impaired. Jenkins also refused to submit to a chemical test.

Investigators say Jenkins is also a habitual traffic violator, so he isn’t supposed to be driving.

Jenkins has been arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction and theft.
