PARKE COUNTY, Ind.–Stealing the identity of a family member is what a woman from Rosedale is accused of doing.

State police say Kathleen Rayborn, 48, charged over $26,000 to credit cards that were in the name of one of her relatives. It was that relative, they say, that contacted them about Rayborn.

When they looked into Rayborn’s activity, they say Rayborn opened up several credit cards started in March 2019 going through December 2019.

She turned herself into the Parke County Jail Thursday. Her bond was set at $10,000.

Rayborn has been charged with two counts of identity deception, which is a class 6 felony.
